What is Social Network Analysis (SNA)?

SNA is a collection of statistical methods to examine the structure of networks. With SNA it is possible to get information aboudifferent groups and about the structure of the whole network. SNA has become a very popular way to analyze environments which have many actors and are not easily described by traditional statistical methods. Further, SNA provides tools to study unofficial and hidden structures.
